TARGET

The Target Archery event is run as a "Robin-Hood" style tournament, in which archers shoot at a row of stationary targets over a series of ranges.

The targets are wooden sticks, called wands, placed upright in the ground before the target boards. The highest scoring arrows are closest to the wand. This is an elimination event, where the winning arrows carry the shooters through to the later rounds of the tournament, while lower scoring shooters fall out.

 

 

Eventually it will come down to two archers...
