SKILL AT ARMS
Mounted skill at arms is run by both squires and knights alike.
Participants ride against the clock as they work their way through a challenging assault course of obstacles and targets, trying to charge, jump, hack, stab and dodge the challenges that await them. The course is designed to test the mettle of even the finest rider. This is a true test of horsemanship and skill with the blade.
This event is traditionally held open to all comers willing to put themselves and their mount through the rigours of the Skill at Arms course.
The mounted Skill at Arms is part of the Taupo Knight's challenge, and will be contested on Saturday morning in the main arena.
